Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation: Dhaara Arlington Theatre reviews
Mediocre Black
Over the last 10 years, I've come to expect a continuous barrage of insightful humor from Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation: Dhaara, having seen it five times. Typically, I'm having a tough time catching my breath, laughing hard, with tears rolling down my face. Not at all this show. It started off strong but within five minutes, it had degenerated to Lewis simply screaming and cursing, trying to get an audience reaction to not funny material. The Facebook/Technology bit was weak and long. There was surprisingly very little topical political humor. The only thing worse was John Bowman, Black's standard opening act. Unfortunately, I've never found him funny, and it looks like his non-comedic approach is starting to rub off on Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation: Dhaara.
